This gold and steel ladies Omega De Ville Symbol has eleven diamonds on the dial as hour markers. Model reference 795.0901.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1998.
CONDITION
This petite watch shared it’s case with the more elaborate symbol models that feature ying and yang symbols, or Egyptian symbols, but it has an easier to live with dial. The Omega website shows this model with an alternative bracelet, and it specifies that the bezel is solid gold. The dial is clean, and the diamonds do sparkle well – we have shown a close up photo of the way the diamonds are cut. The movement is an ETA Quartz, likely replacing the ETA calibre Omega would have originally used (Omega and ETA are owned by the same group, so Omega often used to use ETA movements), and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet is quite short so please measure your wrist before ordering. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown and clasp.
