This Omega Speedmaster automatic is sometimes known as the ‘reduced’ model because of the slightly smaller case when compared to the original manual wind Professional moonwatch.  Model number 175.0032

From the serial number on the bottom right lug we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1993.

This incarnation of the Speedmaster has a dial with the three sub registers in the 3, 6 and 9 positions, similar to the watch worn on the apollo space missions.  On this design the constant seconds is on the subdial at 3, not 9 though, and it is completely different movement/case/watch to the iconic Moonwatch

This watch is in good used condition, and has the original signed plexi crystal fitted and polished to remove the light scratches these pick up.  The bezel has a few tiny dings, and the top left lug also has a mark.  The caseback too has toolmarks, but none of these have been polished and neither has the rest of the case.  The Omega 1140 45 jewel chronograph movement is running nicely.  The watch is currently fitted on a quality Hirsch brown leather strap but this could be changed to a black strap if preferred.  The original Omega box is included, but it is in very poor condition having lost most of the red leatherette covering.

This watch will be supplied with the very tatty Omega box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
