This Mido Ocean Star Datoday Commander is a superbly built watch, and should not be underestimated.

CONDITION
This is an impressive watch for someone who doesn’t want a watch that everyone else will have. The monocoque stainless steel case is designed to remove the chance of water ingress via the case back, and was first used by Mido in 1959. Inside the case is a high end ETA 2836 automatic movement with hack function and quickset day and date. On that point, you can either have the day language in English or, unusually, roman numerals. Both Sunday and VII are in red. The dial is fantastic, and the watch wears large as it is nearly all dial. The hour markers are very intricate, and we have provided a 43x microscopic photo of one of them to show how complex a small detail like a marker can be. The bracelet will be cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, once the owner of this website stops wearing the watch!
