Serviced by Omega in July 2023, this 38mm Omega Polaris chronograph may be the best available in the World.  Model reference 386.1031.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1991.

CONDITION

The Polaris is one of the most original designs on the market, but many people find the standard watch just a little too small at 32mm.  The Chronograph version we have here is 38mm, so a much better size for most people.  The service in July consisted of the normal movement service, plus new dial, hands, sapphire crystal and a brand new bracelet and totaled £1,324.  It would be had to fault the watch after this expenditure – hands and dial glow brightly (as they are new).  We haven’t opened the case as to not affect the warranty.  The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

This watch has been checked against the Watch Register and has not been reported as lost, stolen or implicated in fraud, and a copy of that certificate will also be included.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon.  By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
