A more unusual Seiko, with moonphase and calendar complications.  Model reference 6F22-7010.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in October 1987.

CONDITION

Moonphase watches became very popular in the mid to late eighties, and the reason was not just fashion.  Moonphase complications began appearing in clocks in the 16th century, and high end watches from 1925 (with Patek Philippe launching the first serial production watch with moonphase.)  The problem is the watch needs to be kept wound to keep the moonphase accurate, and that problem was fixed with the invention of the battery powered quartz watch.  With that problem extinguished more watches had moonphase complications.  This Seiko has a clean white dial, Breguet style hands and a gold plated slim case.  The glass is scratch and chip free, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
