This 1981 1982 Pulsar has the original box, guarantee, instructions and the receipt.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1981. It was then sold on the 28th September 1982, as evidenced on the receipt. Either year could be considered correct for a birth year watch.
CONDITION
The simple time only design has aged well, with the dial in particular looking sharp and clean. The case has light pitting on the sides, but this is difficult to spot when on the wrist. The movement is the Seiko V561 quartz movement, which is running perfectly. The crystal has been polished, and a new leather strap added with gold tone buckle to match. We cleaned the case and replaced the battery, so the watch is ready to wear.
An inexpensive birth year watch – when new this watch was £29.50, which according to this inflation calculator would be over £100 in today’s money.
