A very nice Certina Quartz, with personal inscription to accurately date the watch to 1980.  Model reference 750 3013 41

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the long service inscription on the case back for 25 years long service we can accurately date this watch to being presented in 1980.  And we all thank J.H. Cooper for making biscuits for so long!

CONDITION

This Certina Quartz is a very affordable way of buying a Swiss vintage watch.  This C style case was first used by the Omega Constellation (hence C), and what it does do is give very strong lugs.  The all stainless steel case is in very good condition – do not get fooled by the 750 reference on the case back – this is not white gold.  Instead we have a calibre 750 movement inside.  This is a rebadged ETA 9362, a 7 jewel with trimmer quartz movement that we will fit a new battery to before sending this watch out to you.  The crown is the original signed one.  The dial at first glance looks great, but you can see on close inspection the lume plots have reacted with the dial paint in several areas.  The silver dial against a grey dial is not that visible on the wrist at all, as there is little contrast.  The leather strap is new.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
