This Tissot seven has an excellent stepped green dial in a large stainless steel TV case, and is on the original bracelet.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1974.

CONDITION

This is a watch we have never seen before.  We have had Tissot seven watches, some of which were based on the Omega Dynamic, but this is combination of case and dial that is both very rare and also captivating.  It is not subtle – TV cases tend to wear large anyway, and this is a chunky watch, but the design is balanced with the 24mm lugs.  The bracelet is original, long, and have been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.  The movement is a Tissot 2481, which is a close cousin of the Omega 1481.  These movements have a quick set date function that works by pushing the crown in to advance the date by one.  This is a known weak spot in this movement prone to failure, but on this example it is working perfectly.  The green dial is the party piece though, set behind an acrylic glass that is in very good condition.

This watch will be supplied with a presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
