A superb example of the Navigator divers style watch, with a quality movement.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1974.
CONDITION
The best available, surely? The case, hands, dial and bracelet are perfect. The smallest scratch on the acrylic crystal has been polished out. The movement, calibre 2481, was a joint venture with Omega (their version was called 1481), and features a push crown quick set date that is working perfectly. Even the lume still glows! The bezel turns both ways smoothly and without clicks, just as designed. The caseback has a couple of tool mark scratches, but these are obviously not seen when the watch is being worn. The clasp has the paint still around the T logo (the paint normally wears off quite quickly). The watch wears larger than the 38 mm case size, due to the squared off case and the wide lug size. We are very happy to be able to offer this divers style watch in this condition.
This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
