A highly original Omega Geneve, and the rarer model fitted with an automatic movement.  Model reference 162.0052.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1973.

CONDITION

Original watches are highly sought after now, ones where not too much has changed since the watch left the factory.  One this example the Ω symbol on different parts shows the originality – this watch is signed on the crystal, crown, buckle, dial, movement (twice) and on the dial.  Some parts, like the crown, crystal and buckle, show signs of their years but are fully functional and original.  The case is 20 micron gold plated, and this does show some wear on the corners where it was always most likely to show.  The movement is Omega 1012, and automatic that was cleverly designed to be thinner than the vast majority of automatics.  It is running well and has quick set date.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.  It is fitted with the original 14mm Omega buckle, which has some wear.  This model, 162-0052, does feature on Omega’s website and you can see that here.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
