A very rare watch from International Watch Company.  The only other one we have ever seen is the only electronic watch in IWC’s own museum in Schaffhausen!

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

We can date this to 1972 because we have cross referenced the movement number against the known IWC database.

CONDITION

Original but worn.  This watch is signed on the dial, crown, caseback, movement and clasp.  Comes on what is an original bracelet which will fit wrists up to 185mm.  However the bracelet shows signs of acid erosion on the inside (not spreading), and wear and tear elsewhere.  An aftermarket bracelet could be fitted, but we like to keep the original items together with extremely rare watches like this.  The watch case is straight, the dial and hands in good condition and the movement is running strongly. The glass does have a light scratch.

SIZE

40.00mm wide including the crown, 10.6mm thick. Takes an 28mm strap with a 10mm cut out.
