This 1971 Omega de Ville screams the 1970’s. A very unusual case design, in golds and browns, could suit men or women equally.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the watch movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1971.
CONDITION
The watch is in great condition. The heavily faceted crystal is nearly perfect, with just minute chips on the beveled edge. The Omega 620 manual wind movement is functioning perfectly. The 20 micron gold plating is showing minimal signs of wear, even on the corners (which is where gold plate wears first). The watch is on a Hirsch leather strap, barely worn, and has the original crown and buckle. We have not seen another one like this. The design is so unusual that we have pictured this watch on both a man and woman’s wrist to let you decide.
