An unusual Constellation case shape, but if anything this makes this a more interesting Omega than most.  Model reference 154.0002.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1970.  This model was launched as part of the 1971 international collection, alongside a solid gold version  as featured on the Omega website.

CONDITION

The watch is in good overall condition, but not perfect.  The original silver dial looks great, but there is a small dent near eleven.  The glass has a small chip at 4.30 but is otherwise good.  The case is similar – great at first glance but there is a mark near two when you look closer.  The movement however is nice and with nothing negative to report.  Introduced in 1968, calibre 1001 is a twenty jewel movement that has the automatic winding gear design as an integral part of the movement, rather than a bolt on extra component.  This allows a thinner overall movement height, therefore you can use a thinner case.  Being a Constellation it was also chronometer rated as an excellent timekeeper, hacks and has quickset date.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
