An all original Vertex Revue from 1969, given for long service, and kept in the box for best by the appearance of it.

From the supplied original guarantee paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold in September 1969.  The paperwork matched the inscription on the caseback too, both for name and date.

This Vertex Revue was clearly a gift for an employee for long service, and as such was treasured.  Often we find that presentation watches that still have the box and papers have spent their lives mainly inside the original box, just being bought out for best, and this appears to be the case here.  The dial is clean, with the original lume pips still present.  The crystal is armoured and has a date magnifier on the inside of the glass.  The case has been cleaned and the leather strap is new.  The movement is a Vertex Revue branded MSR T46 17 jewel with semi quickset date.  This movement was launched in 1968, and the one fitted to this movement has the optional excenter regulator adjustment for finer adjustment.

This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, outer box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
