HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1969.
CONDITION
Although the Seastar wasn’t Tissot’s first water proof watch, it has been in the catalogues from 1952 and remains a strong seller today. This one has a 20 micron gold plated case with thick, strong lugs. The lugs, and some area of the back of the case does show some minor wear. Behind the screw down case back you will find Tissot 784-2 automatic movement, a 21 jewel item with semi quick set date. The dial is all original, and the hands and dial do not look to have ever had any lume. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case and movement.
This watch will be supplied with our branded and reusable zipped travel case and cleaning cloth, and our Certificate of Authenticity.

By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
