A stainless steel Omega Geneve with the copper finished manual wind movement. Model reference 132.0019.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1969. This model was first introduced in 1959, and was replaced in 1970 due to the change in Omega movements to the 1000 series calibres.
CONDITION
The movement is Omega’s hand winding calibre 613. These earlier movements are prized for their quality and this is no exception. The case is a nice, comfortable size and in good order, with just slight tool marks on the left hand side. The worst part on this watch is the dial has a few spots, with the most noticeable being just above the centre. They are not hideous, but they are there. The original signed crown also operates the semi quick set date, so you move the hands past midnight, back to 8pm and then past midnight again. The hands and hour markers being gilt rather than steel does add a small splash of colour, without being flash. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
