HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1969. You can also see that this model was launched in 1969, with this bracelet and movement, by comparing it to the one featured on Omega’s own website here.
CONDITION
Constellation automatic watches normally carry a premium over other models, but this particular watch has had the case and bracelet polished and this will put some people off. The case and bracelet should be matte finished, and this is shiny – that explains why this is cheaper. But some people will like the polished finish, and this then will be ideal for them. Also the dial has been restored, so is not how it left the factory either. Inside you have the Omega 20 jewel automatic movement that was chronometer rated. and also has quick set date. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crystal and clasp.
