This 1969 Garrard watch has a manual wind movement and time only display. Solid gold from the Queen’s jewellers.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to 1969 from the London hallmarks inside the case back.
Excellent. There are a few tool marks on the non crown side of the watch, as shown in the magnified photos, but in normal life these would not be seen. The hand wind movement is very clean and running perfectly, and we have fitted a new strap. The watch is petite, as was the fashion then, but because the dial is uncluttered it is very legible and easy to read.
Approximately 21.2 mm wide including the crown, 7.2 mm thick. The strap will fit smaller wrists, but this can be changed if required.
