A nice men’s Zenith watch with manual wind movement and sub seconds dial, all fitted in a stainless steel case.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
This watch was presented for 25 years long service in 1967 according to the case back, which makes this much easier for us than dating most Zenith watches.
CONDITION
The heart of any Zenith is the movement, and this is no different. This watch has their calibre 2531 hand wound movement, which has just benifitted from some cleaning, oiling and a new click spring being fitted so should be good for many more years. It has been protected by a screw down case back, which also has a new seal. The dial does have some marks that are quite obvious. The hands are good, as are the applied numerals, and the watch is wound via the original signed crown. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.
