This slinky, elegant solid gold ladies 1966 Omega cocktail watch is less than half the price of a new, steel quartz Omega. Model reference 711.5665.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1966. The London hallmark inside the Omega Watch Co. (OWC) case is also for 1966.
CONDITION
The solid gold bracelet is the star of the show here. It is very fine mesh and has a secondary pattern running down it that catches the light in ways that the video shows better than any still photograph could. The bracelet is also long, and with any integrated bracelet that is a key point – it is easier for a jeweller to shorten a bracelet to your wrist size than extend it. There is a slight kink in the bracelet, but nothing serious. The movement is a hand winding Omega calibre 484 which has seventeen jewels and is working well. There is nothing negative to report on the case, hands or dial – this is a very clean watch.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
