This 1965 Timex has a higher specification movement than usual, with 21 jewels and automatic winding.  A very balanced design too.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the bottom of the dial we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1965.

CONDITION

The watch is very presentable, without being completely perfect.  The worst parts are a mark on the outside of the lug at 11, and a scratch on the side of the case near 2 – both relatively minor, but we try and point out damage whenever we see it.  The automatic movement is working well, the dial is mainly clean and the triple gold effect (golden case, golden dial and golden hands) looks good on the wrist.  We have added a new leather strap with gold tone buckle.

Please see the HD video below for more detail.
