This 1963 Seiko, model number 11-7570, has a hand winding movement and a case coated in white gold.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in July 1963.

CONDITION

The worst part of this watch is the aftermarket bracelet, which is stainless steel and not white gold plated.  But is is a good length and not bad quality so we have retained it.  It is quite unusual to plate a watch case in white gold, as it is cheaper to chrome the case to get nearly the same effect, but Seiko spent the extra Yen to make the model stand out.  The textured dial is very slightly dirty, but not to a big negative effect overall as the enlarged photographs show.  The hand winding movement is working well.
