This 1963 Omega men’s watch has a very high quality Omega 562 24 jewel automatic movement with swan neck adjustment.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the original movement we can accurately date this watch to 1963.
CONDITION
The dial is absolutely stunning, and without fault. This is shown off to the best effect with the new crystal we have had fitted – the old crystal was the original Omega signed one. The movement is one of Omega’s finest, with many of these movements chronometer certified (this one wasn’t submitted for testing). The gold plate is a thick 40 microns, and has stood up well. There is a ding at 10 on the case, but that is the only damage. The embossed caseback does have tool slip marks. We have fitted a new leather strap, which is on the orange side of tan(!), but this can be changed free of charge if anyone wants a more conservative black or brown leather strap.
Please see the HD video below for more detail.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
“Looks great and I can’t believe the condition of the watch, considering its 53 years old, I only wish I was in such good shape. The whole family liked the wrapping paper, it was a nice touch as was the quality box. It’s been an absolute pleasure buying the watch and I really appreciate the effort you went to, I would recommend Birthyearwatches to anyone. And you are welcome to use that quote.”
