A men’s steel Omega from the 1960’s with a 552 calibre automatic movement?  Yes please!  Model reference 14786

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1962.

CONDITION

Without looking flashy, this Omega exudes quality.  The very nicely finished movement, calibre 552 as fitted to all 14786 models, has 24 jewels and fine swan neck adjustment, all hidden away behind the clip on case back.  The dial is clean – very clean for a non waterproof watch to be fair.  There is one spec of dirt on the inside of the crystal that we will try and remove that we mention on the video.  The case is unpolished, straight and ding free.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.  The buckle looks to be the original Omega item, signed like the crown is too.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
