HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Rado watches are lovely, but very difficult to date. Happily the good people at Rado confirmed the model and serial number of this exact watch was part of a small run of just 650 watches produced between 2007 and 2010.
CONDITION
The lack of reference information, and the relatively easy to copy quartz movements of Rado watches do make them susceptible to being faked, sadly. However, this watch is guaranteed authentic. Not only do you have our word, but also we have the confirmation from Rado themselves about the model. Given that they only made 650 of these over three years, it is no wonder that it is hard to find out much about the model. This watch has diamonds set on the dial at the quarters, and a long original bracelet that connects to the case back in a similar manner to the Longines La Grande Classique range. Once the screws are removed you can see the ETA 956.412 movement, which is all working perfectly, and you have the date on the dial at 6. This can be quickset via the crown (signed with the Rado anchor logo). A lot of Rado watches use high tech ceramic as part of the design, but this watch is all metal construction. You could wear this with a leather strap too. The original box is present, but is missing both sides for some reason we can not explain! The watch has dual branding of Jubile on the dial, and Diastar on the back, which is correct.
