HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We don’t have any production dates for this watch, but we have found three examples for sale in the past that came with dated paperwork. One was from 1996, and the other two were both from 1997.
CONDITION
This is a high quality, understated watch from one of the top brands. The stainless steel case doesn’t have any dings, the sapphire crystal glass is chip and scratch free. The very simple dial is perfect, as are the thin blued hands. We have fitted a new leather strap but retained the JLC buckle, and the original crown is signed too. The seven jewel signed JLC movement has the cotes de Geneve patterning – something only the watchmaker normally sees, but a nice sign of quality.
