This scarce Zenith Espada is on the original bracelet, and is in great cosmetic and working condition. Model number 59-0280-337.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
The ETA based Zenith 33.7 quartz movement was introduced in 1988, and as this watch has the styling and size from the late eighties we are estimating this was made in 1989.
CONDITION
Since we have lightly restored the watch the condition is now as good as you are likely to find. We only needed to replace the crystal and gasket, and clean the bracelet in our ultrasonic bath, and it is transformed. The watch has been worn, so expect some light scratches on the stainless steel surfaces, but the gold plated links and bezel highlights are looking decent. The butterfly clasp is nice and tight, as it should be. The movement features a quick set date, operated via the original crown. The watch is exceptionally slim, at under 6mm. Zenith remain one of our favourite manufacturers, and this remains one of the cheapest ways to own a nice one.
