This ladies Sekonda was built behind the iron curtain, and is fitted with a mechanical movement – something of a rarity in the 1980’s when quartz was king.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to being made circa 1985 by the production dates of the 1601A movement, along with the styling.
CONDITION
This is a busy watch. The patterned dial is complicated by an acrylic that is bevel cut on the inside, and the case is highly polished (hence the reflections in the photos). Inside the watch is a quality movement that will last for a long time. No real damage or wear to report. We have fitted a new leather strap.
This watch will be supplied with a presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
SIZE
25.3mm wide including the recessed crown, 9.0mm thick. Takes an 12mm strap.
Included with this watch is a 1 month guarantee and free delivery to UK addresses. If you live outside the UK we can still deliver to most countries. Please see our Worldwide Shipping information, or Contact Us.
