A chunky Sabina men’s vintage watch, in New Old Stock (NOS) condition, with an ETA automatic movement.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

Using a combination of the production dates of the movement, along with the styling, we think this was made circa 1971.  This watch is not possible to date with absolute accurately, but the condition was such that we made an exception.

CONDITION

The checklist of things to look for with this watch is all there.  The condition is as close to perfect as possible, with only the tiniest of storage marks visible.  The case is all stainless steel, and was originally water resistant which helps protect everything inside.  And what is inside?  A 25 jewel, ETA 2772 movement with semi quickset date poking out from a round window in the bottom right corner of the dial.  The red second hand is a nice splash of colour, and the hour and minute hands have tritium lume.  We don’t know much on Sabina watches, but this chunk of seventies makes us want to know more.  The 220mm rubber strap is new and can be cut down to suit, or swapped for a leather strap at no extra cost.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
