Expert were a Swiss company founded in 1904, and this is a hand wound watch from them in great condition from circa 1950.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the case and movement design we believe this watch dates to circa 1950.
CONDITION
The watch is amazing from the front, but a little shabby behind thanks to a DIY job of engraving an owners name. That aside, the dial is in fabulous condition and you can clearly see the guilloche decoration. The blued hands are clean, and the telephone arabic numbers make this an easy watch to read the time on. The old watch crystal had yellowed with age, so we have fitted a replacement. The unsigned movement is keeping good time.
