HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
This watch was bought new in November 2019.
CONDITION
1919 was the year the famous Bauhaus school was founded, the simple, functional style is well employed here. There are details, such as the stepped dial, that are not immediately obvious. The red tipped second hand matching the marker at twelve too – subtle, but interesting. When these watches were first launched in 2016 the reviews were clearly taken by the design of the ‘lugs’. The watch was available on a rubber strap or a titanium bracelet, but the bracelet is the better long term bet – we don’t know what Porsche Design will charge for a new rubber strap, but they are not known for being inexpensive and we have not seen aftermarket straps available for this watch. This watch has been worn for one day, and the photographs and videos show it with five links removed.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation boxes, papers, five extra bracelet links and our Certificate of Authenticity.
Please see the HD video for more detail. All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned. We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
