This homage to the Panerai watch was ordered new by us, custom built to our specifications. UK duty paid.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We bought it new in 2016.
CONDITION
As new at time of writing, but this is being worn in rotation with other watches.
A homage watch is something clearly inspired by a iconic watch, but built to a much cheaper price. A Panerai would be £3,000+. A fake watch, which should never be considered, would try and pass itself off as the real thing by adding the branding and logos. This watch was specified with crystal glass, PVD case and fishtale buckle and exhibition back. The tan strap with black stitching is a whopping 4mm thick! The Chinese movement is a hand wind with sub dial seconds, and the UK import duty has been paid.
