HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in August 2006.
CONDITION
The watch has been worn, but the dial, hand set and sapphire crystal are all in A1 order. Seiko rarely use sapphire crystal, but these were not cheap watches – the closest current model to this is in excess of £300. The watch and bracelet are both made from Titanium, and this contributes to a low overall weight of 94g (a comparable quartz steel watch was 140g). This weight saving does make the watch comfortable to wear for long periods. The bracelet is a good length and will be cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. Like all titanium, the case and bracelet will show very light wear marks. The Kinetic system works by charging a capacitor, so this watch doesn’t have any batteries. We will fit a new capacitor before sending the watch out, so it is as fresh as possible, so please allow a few days for us to complete that. The watch comes with a Seiko inner and outer box, but theses are quite scruffy.
This watch will be supplied with a Seiko box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
