An original Accurist chronograph with box and papers from 1999, with an unusual and attractive purple dial with silver subdials.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the original Accurist paperwork, and contemporary adverts, we can accurately date this watch to 1999.

CONDITION

The stainless steel case is all in good order, save for the sides that have a few small marks.  The purple dial is great, with the constant seconds being at the subdial at 6.  This doubles as the 1/10th second counter for the thirty seconds  when the chronograph is running.  All hands reset to zero as they should.  The glass has a couple of very light scratches.  The original folded link bracelet is of a good size and has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.  The fixed bezel shows signs of being worn but isn’t badly damaged.  The overall effect on this watch is quite pleasing, and the quality is better than you might expect for a budget brand.

SIZE

41.9mm wide including the crown, 10.8mm thick. Takes a 20mm strap.  The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of approximately  201mm.
