CONDITION
The Camel Trophy was one of the world’s hardest rallies, and you can read more about it here. In the early 1990’s a German company started to market tough, adventure watches to cross promote the rally and in 1993 Mondiane took over this license – it is unclear if this is the earlier or later production. The Japanese Epson YM57A movement is all functioning correctly, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The mystery behind this watch is why the first owner spent a not inconsiderable sum of money on a watch and didn’t wear it – the strap is like new, and the metal hangtag still attached. The quality is good too – all stainless steel case, glass crystal and a good tin box to complete everything. While the case does have a few very light marks from storage it is still difficult to imagine finding a better one.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers, hangtag and our Certificate of Authenticity.
