This 1992 Seiko is made in the very hard, yet light, titanium metal.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the caseback we can accurately date this watch to April 1992.  The serial number would indicate this is a very early watch, just number 54 in the model 7N42-8090 model line.

CONDITION

The dial is a deep blue, and looks fantastic.  The worse part of the watch is the bezel has been scratched near 6, and this has chipped the edge of the hardlex glass too.  We haven’t tried to polish this out or try to hide it, but we have made sure the price reflects this damage.  The titanium bracelet has all the links present, and has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.  The gold plated highlights have lost some of their plating, which is normal for these.  The gold beveled hands look great against the dark navy dial.

SIZE

38.6 mm wide including the unsigned crown, 8.9 mm thick.  The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of approximately 210 mm.
