This is a very good example of the mid eighties Seamaster, and if you want the best condition then please read on. Model reference 192.6859.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1986.
CONDITION
In terms of condition, we have seen many worse 6 month old watches than this Seamaster. The brushed gold plated case is perfect, as is the dial, hands, glass, caseback – it really could be the best one in the World. Inside you have the calibre 1425 movement, which is heavily ETA based, so if you did need spares in future they should be easier to find than some Omega quartz models. It has quick set day and date, operated by the signed crown. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The leather strap is very lightly used and signed Omega, as is the stainless steel buckle, but we can not vouch for the strap and buckle being genuine. They can be swapped for a different combination if preferred.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
Please see the HD video for more detail. All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned. We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
