The Omega de Ville was made in 1986, and sold in 1989, as evidenced by the original paperwork. Great condition with full set.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1986. The same paperwork shows the watch being sold in 1989, so either year could be considered a valid birth year watch.
CONDITION
The watch is in great condition, with little or no negative things to report. It has clearly been worn carefully. The box has the original guarantee, the extra links to make the bracelet as large as when new, and even a receipt for a battery change in 2016. The serial number is nearly completely wiped off the inside of the case back, but the first digits as shown as ’50’ which match the paperwork. The serial number being rubbed off Omegas of this period is not unusual. The crystal and dial are very clean, and the hands and the thin bezel insert are made of gold. The original Omega 1430 movement is working perfectly.

SIZE
Approximately 34.5 mm wide including the signed crown, 5.1 mm thick. The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of approximately 210 mm when the extra links are reinserted (we can do that if needed).
