This 1983 Seiko Sports 100 Chronograph, model number 7A28-7040 combines the ground breaking 7A28 movement with a divers bezel.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in July 1983.

CONDITION

The 7A28 movement is a gem.  The fifteen jewel movement is as high end as any quartz watch we have seen – 15 jewels, no plastic parts and completely serviceable.  No wonder they are so well sought after.  It was so good that it was chosen by the RAF, SAAF and James Bond!

This example is working perfectly, resetting to zero as it should.  There is small amounts of scratching to the bezel, and the glass has a scratch near 8.  The original bracelet has an extension piece to make it wearable for most people.  The hands show some tarnishing.  The bi directional bezel turns and clicks crisply.

This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
