This solid 9k gold 1980 / 1981 Longines is complete with box, papers, and even the original hangtag.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the London hallmark on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1980. The matching papers show the watch was sold in 1981. Either date is valid for a birth year watch.
CONDITION
The solid 9k gold case is in overall good condition, but the rear of the case has some dents and dimples that we are not sure how they got there. They are not visible when the watch is being worn, and do not affect the performance. The manual wind Cal. 805 Longines movement will be serviced before the watch is sent to ensure the watch is working perfectly, and a new leather strap will be fitted. This is quite a small watch so any imperfections on the massively enlarged photos look worse than in real life.
