Built to celebrate Tissot sponsoring the Lotus F1 team

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

We can date this to 1979 as this watch was introduced for this season of F1, and we have included a photo of the racecar it was sponsoring.

CONDITION

Worn carefully and very original.  Original signed bracelet and crown.  The movement Tissot used in these watches is special – so accurate that they claim you don’t need to adjust the minute hand.  When you turn the crown the hour hand jumps, which is great for jetsetters crossing international time zones.  You can of course set the minute hand using a special sequence that we will supply the new owner.

SIZE

38.0mm wide including the crown, 9.6mm thick. Takes a 20mm strap.  The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of 182mm
