A classy dress watch, this 1978 Timex is in a water resistant case and has a golden dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to 1978 from the serial number on the watch dial.
CONDITION
Good. The case doesn’t have any dings, and the plating is worn just on the tips of the lugs. The dial has just a little honest dirt and the crystal has been polished to remove any scratches. The second hand is a little bent, but it doesn’t foul the other hands nor the dial. We have fitted a new leather strap, so this is ready to wear and enjoy. Timex watches were never the highest quality available, but that makes them a great introduction to vintage watches now.
