The Constellation was the top end timepiece made by Omega, and this time only watch is certainly top end.  Model reference 395.0802

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1977.

CONDITION

Today we associate quartz with cheap, but in the 1970’s Quartz was the premium technology.  Cheaper to maintain, and more accurate that a mechanical watch, it was a no brainer if you could afford it.  This watch has the Omega 1330 movement (manual available here), which is an in house movement.  The watch is in very good cosmetic condition, particularly the jet black dial.  The correct, original bracelet is long and you can have links removed to fit your wrist if it is smaller than the dimensions listed below.  The Omega badge is missing from the clasp, which is a common issue Omega had for a number of years.  The watch is running perfectly.  The bezel insert is likely to be 18k gold, but we can not find evidence to prove that.

This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
