Made in the USSR, This Raketa uses the Calibre 2609 movement with sub seconds.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to 1974 thanks to the inscription on the caseback. It translates as ‘To my wife on her birthday 29.06.74’
CONDITION
The dial is quite nice with the guilloche effect contrasting centre section. The blued hands are also a sign of quality. There is a small smudge on the dial between 10 and 11 we have not yet tried to remove, and the ill fitting strap will be replaced with a more correct item.
