A clean example of this hand winding 1970 Timex men’s watch. Made in Great Britain.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the watch dial we can accurately date this watch to being produced in 1970.
CONDITION
This watch is a very simple, classy design and is an inexpensive introduction to vintage watches. The in house Timex pin pallet movement is keeping good time, and we have fitted a new crystal to show off the clean dial with applied hour markers. Although the watch is marked as water resistant we would recommend not trusting that after 45 years. The case has a little wear to the gold plating, but no dings. A small amount of plate has been chipped off the lug nearest one. The burgundy leather strap is not going to be to everyone’s taste, but can be swapped if required. We just liked the look! Complete with gold tone buckle to match.
