The Seiko Rainbow range seems to have been their upper line in Ladies watches. 18k gold filled case and bracelet and high end movement.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in April 1970.
CONDITION
The watch, model number 1104-3120, is in wonderful condition. We wouldn’t expect any wear on a gold filled case, and that is true here, but the dial is also brilliant and the whole watch is difficult to fault. The manual wind 1104A movement is unusual in that it has a centre seconds hand, which Seiko didn’t commonly fit to ladies watches. The next step up in quality would be a solid 18k watch and bracelet, but that would be three times the price.
