HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1969.
CONDITION
The Dynamic was a huge sales success for Omega, and the then futuristic design still looks distinctive today. Choice was a major factor – you could have hundreds of combinations of movement, calendar features, dial designs, case finishes and strap and bracelet options. This one we have has the light gold dial with taupe ‘bullseye’ ring that works very well with the gold hands. The dial has a bump near 4. The movement inside the one piece steel case is the automatic calibre 565, which arguably is the one to have. The case still has very good radial adoucissage graining, with very few scratches but there is a bruise on the case at 10. In the photos we have noticed the at the case isn’t sitting perfectly, but we show how to rectify that in the video when we adjust it using tool 107 (as stated on the case back). The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown, clasp and bracelet.
