This ladies Roamer, made in 1968 and sold in 1970, still has the original box and is in good, very original condition.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the stamp on the guarantee we know this passed the quality check in August 1968 when it was finished. It was sold in July 1970, as shown by the original papers. Either year is valid as a birth year watch.
CONDITION
Very nice and highly original. The hand wind movement kicks into life immediately the crown is turned, and the crown still has the Roamer logo clearly embossed. The expanding bracelet, of which we have the spare links, may not be to everyone’s taste but it can easily be changed for a leather strap if preferred. The bracelet will be cleaned in our ultrasonic bath before being sent out. It’s nice to have the centre seconds on the watch, which too many ladies watches don’t have.
