This Seiko Sealion M77, model number 8305-1000, uses a high end 30 jewel movement set into an oversized 38mm stainless steel case.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in April 1965.
CONDITION
This watch has a number of really nice features. The dial has a full set of bullet hour markers, pointing to the centre of the silvered dial. The large case, stainless steel throughout, has nice curved lugs reminiscent of the Omega Moonwatch. The quartered dial is clean, with just a couple of small marks that are hardly noticeable. The crystal also has some minor scratches. The high specification 30 jewel movement is running strongly, and features quick set date that can be adjusted both ways. We have added a new black leather strap with contrasting white stitching.
