HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the paperwork included we can date this watch to Christmas Eve, 1964. The ETA 2487 movement production dates correspond with this date, and the hallmark is an import hallmark for 1972 (This is the date the gold case was assayed, not necessarily the date of production in Switzerland).
CONDITION
The dial is clean and bright, and the nicely designed case is in good condition. Most of the bracelet is very good, but the clasp does have some marks. The 21 jewel movement is running strongly and is better than will be found in most ladies watches of this period. This is a solid gold watch with box and papers for very little money.
SIZE
Approximately 16.7 mm wide including the crown, 7.8 mm thick. Takes an 6.5 mm strap. The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of approximately 160 mm.
